  • Has served on the board of her church, her community’s trails and open-space committee, and as an advisor to college students

  • Supports increased curriculum transparency and a return to focus on core skills such as reading, writing, and STEM

  • Volunteer work: EMT, Financial Peace counseling and prison ministry; Coast Guard Auxiliary; Compassion International

  • Wants to return fiscal discipline and financial management to district

  • Former high school and middle school science teacher

  • Believes school district should increase focus on supporting non-college bound students through introduction to vocational careers

  • Volunteered as a youth football, basketball and baseball coach
